Commonly referred to its brand name of “Deco Seal”. The narrow, rubbed based joint found between the coping and the deck. It expands and contracts with weather variations and provided protection for the coping, tile and decking. If it cracks over time, the coping and tile may become loose, eventually separate, and may cause damage to your pool. The charge to replace the mastic is minimal; especially is you consider the thousands of dollars you can run into replacing or repairing tile and coping.
If your pool and spa plaster has become darkened and stained, you may want to consider an acid wash. In most cases, it can make your pool and spa plaster look new again.
Sandblasting is available for pools that have been painted or coated with fiber-tech.
